About Self-Pub Fest & Dates

Self-Pub Fest is a non-profit book festival celebrating self-published authors.

The first Self-Pub Fest online took place on Sunday 25th January 2026, then 5th July 2026, when I decided to run it on the second Sunday (where possible) every other month from September 2026. but open

The online festivals include several panels talking about different topics. Most of the participants are authors but some include publishing ‘experts’ including cover designers, editors, illustrators, website designers and publishers. If you’re one of these, do let me know!

See Calendar for upcoming dates and the individual dated page for timings.

In between we have mini-fest events in the form of Monday Midday Mini-fests, Tuesday & Thursday ‘T&T’ Panels, Tell Us About Your Books, Tell Us About Your Service and Spotlights.

All recordings are uploaded to Morgen’s YouTube channel and embedded on the relevant dated and authors’ pages.

Entry to everything online is FREE ~ see the Tickets page.

The ‘in person’ festivals are held at The Holiday Inn, on the corner of New Road / Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury HP22 5QT. There is also a bookshop at this venue for authors to sell their books… and receive 100% of the agreed cover price. Any card fees will come out of ticket sales.

The April panels are the same as the only January panels although there are four authors per panel ~ including a moderator ~ whereas online we will have up to six. The October in-persons will be a five panels of four authors talking about the nuts and bolts of publishing.

See In Person (Apr/Oct) for details.
