Are you a photographer local (or willing to travel) to Aylesbury, Bucks, and are available on Sunday 4th October 2026 for part or all of the day to take photographs and some video of a non-profit book festival?

After the success of my book festival (at the Holiday Inn, Aylesbury on 26th April), I am running a second festival, on Sunday 4th October 2026, with a slightly different format; talking about the nuts and bolts of publishing.

There will be five hour-long panels of five authors (40 minutes of Q&A style chat followed by four of the authors reading 5 minutes each of their writing) running from 10am to 6pm in front of a theatre-style audience. Each panel is followed by a 30-minute break (45-minutes at 12.30) for networking and book purchasing – we have a bookshop next to the main auditorium, all in a private area on the ground floor of the Holiday Inn, Weston Turville.

I’m looking for one or more photographers to take photos (of the panels and natural ‘chatting’ shots etc), and some videos (of at least the authors reading, 20 minutes x5), of the day!

It’s a non-profit event so cost will be a major factor but we want a full record of the day. The quote should include a digital copy of each photo/video (with your watermark is fine). You’ll get your own page on the website () and can offer additional photographs for purchase from your website.
