In almost a year I’d not been approached by non-English-speaking authors to take part in something other than the live Zoom sessions or in-person events, i.e. as text rather than video, then I get two in one week!
I hate saying ‘no’ completely so while it’s unlikely that the authors below will be taking part in the live Zoom events, I’m more than happy to give them a mention (for free).

Mohamed Ahmed Elbossily Mohamed is an independent Egyptian author and founder of ELBOSSILY Books. Hanifa K. Tharin is an author and poet rooted in Afghan heritage and born and raised in India. Drawn to literary expression since childhood, her writing engages with identity, memory, displacement, belonging, faith, resilience, and the quiet profundities of ordinary life. ITALY
Massimo Lorusso, an Italian living in Milan, is the author of his autobiography, ‘The Voice of Silence – What Words Do Not Say‘, written thirty-eight years after a dive into the sea in Rimini, north-east Italy, aged seventeen, left him with a cervical spinal cord injury. The book tells the long story that followed: family, fatherhood, marriage, personal assistance, years in residential settings, mobility, travel, grief, and the continuing effort to remain the author of one’s own life despite extensive physical dependence.
