Paula Harmon

Paula Harmon lives in Dorset and chiefly writes historical mystery fiction.

When not murdering people (on paper), she gives talks about the amazing – and sometimes bizarre – achievements of Victorian and Edwardian women.

She also likes cooking, art, sewing and photography and also being involved in organising a local literary festival, she is usually trying to do too many things at once (except housework).

Paula is married with two grown up children but despite being old enough to know better perhaps, is still hoping to meet a (friendly) dragon. She knows they’re out there somewhere. It’s just a matter of time.

Paul was born in North London to parents of English, Scottish and Irish descent, who relocated to South Wales via several English country towns when Paula was eight.

She later graduated from Chichester University before making her home in Gloucestershire, and then Dorset where she has lived since 2005. Paula generally has several writing projects underway.
