Pete has written three collections of mystery short stories. His USP and novelty is that each story has a twist and he loves it when people tell him the regular feedback that “ ..of the 15 stories in the book I only got two of the twists before I got to the end of the story. You fooled me!”
He is a scientist by trade so new wacky ideas come naturally to him and he likes to weave a story around a clever twist. Radio Berkshire interviewed Pete on air and even aired a short story to the listeners. It went so well that Berkshire radio aired four more separate stories in the following weeks. Fiesta FM also interviewed Pete on air and have also read out some stories on air.
One of Pete’s stories has reached the longlist for the worldwide “Mysterious Murders Short Stories Competition”. The judges said “A good old-fashioned crime story that packs a heist under 3k words, and quite twisty. It kept me guessing till the end, and I felt I really knew the characters”.
Pete also loves to play the Ukulele, which he does so with the Windsor Ukulele Band. He is also. Passionate cricket player and watcher.
