5: Sun 10th Jan 2027 Festival ~ Meet the (Indie) Authors

The inaugural online ‘Self-Pub Fest’ festival was held on Sunday 25th January 2026 via individual hourly Zoom genre panels with up to six participating authors on each panel, each a different genre throughout the day. See the red link above for the details and recordings. Januarys hereafter will continue to be split into genre panels.

The second all-day online festival took place on Sunday 5th July 2026. Click that red link for the details and recordings. This day was about the nuts and bolts of publishing. Each July session will repeat this topic.

It was then going to be every six months but I decided to host it every other month, repeating the second Sunday of each month. So the third will be on 13th September 2026, on the basics of writing, i.e. characters, settings, plots, beginnings, middles, endings). How exciting!

The fourth will then be on Sunday 8th November 2026 and about the craft of writing, i.e. description, dialogue, pacing etc.

We shall be doing it a fifth time on Sunday 10th January 2027, with different authors (some from 2026 will be reserves in case anyone listed can’t make it on the day).

See below for timings and the embedded intro at the bottom of this page. It’s a free event but it will be listed on EventBrite. The access links will be listed below and on each sub-page nearer the time. In the meantime, there’s the all-day ‘nuts and bolts of publishing’ on 5th July 2026.

If you missed the live events, click on the panel links below for further details and to watch our chats with authors from across the globe on YouTube. Alternatively, if you watch the intro below on YouTube you can watch the other sessions at your leisure.
