Below is a list of writing groups I know of (and am involved in)…

• Chiltern Writers ~ are based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire and meets every third Thursday of the month (other than December when it’s earlier, often the first or second Monday evening).
• NAWG ~ the National Association of Writers Groups, is based here in the UK, and will list writing groups near (hopefully) to you.
• New Street Authors collective ~ is a group of independent, self-published writers based in Birmingham, UK, as well as online members living further afield. They are also on Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). You’ll find some of NSA’s members on here: AA Abbott, co-founder David Wake, Dawn the Poet, John Moore, Karl W Newton, Lee Benson, Martin Tracey, Self-Pub Fest founder, Morgen with an ‘E’, Ryan Stark and Tim Franks. It’s a great group to belong to!
