Gemma joined us at the 26th Apr 2026 Festival ~ Meet the (Indie) Authors.
North East Lincolnshire, England, Gemma writes young adult fantasy and retellings, romance fiction and poetry. She says she is half unicorn, half Harley Quinn and is a true romantic at heart.
Gemma graduated at the University of Lincoln in 2009, where she studied a degree in Drama. However years later Gemma has discovered writing is her hobby and passion, and hopes to one day be able to go back to university to study creative writing.
As well as her own writing, Gemma is a huge supporter for writers within her local area as she hosts a weekly creative writing group in Grimsby.
