Is this an event just for authors or for readers as well? If I want to participate as an author to publicise my work, do I do it by buying a ticket or is there another way? I am interested in the Aylesbury event(s), I am published (11 crime/spy thrillers), although I do not self-publish I use APS books who print and publish on my behalf through Amazon.
Hi Colin. All the events are to attract readers (writers and non-writers) to new-to-them self-published authors. The April event is full for authors but yes, you do have to be self-published to be on a panel. You’re more than welcome to purchase a ticket and have your marketing material (one stack of one design of bookmark and/or one stack of one design of A5 flyer) on the marketing table in the main hall.
