Below are the recordings featuring Morgen’s writing from the Short Story (& Poetry) Saturdays

On Saturday 28th March 2026, Morgen read ‘Stuffed’ (a 45-word piece from her flash fiction collection ‘Flashes‘) then ‘Waiting for the Number Twelve’, then ‘Under’ and ‘Over’ (all c. 500 words, from her short story collection ‘Shorts‘).

On Saturday 4th April 2026, Morgen read ‘An English Summer’ and ‘Life in the Old Dog’, both c. 500 words, from ‘Shorts‘, then ‘Double Trouble’ (a dialogue-only back-and-forth from ‘Flashes‘).

On Saturday 11th April 2026, for the third Short Story Saturday, Morgen read three stories she’d written as Your Unique Story commission pieces, ‘Detective Jamie’ (written for a boy), ‘Kym’s Kind of Adventure’ (written for a girl, then ‘Willow’s Treasures and Pleasures’ (a non-binary story).

On Saturday 11th April 2026, for the fourth Short Story Saturday, Morgen read the final four stories from her flash fiction collection ‘Flashes‘): ‘Into the Wild Blue Yonder’, a dialogue-only ‘Not a Very Grand Job’, ‘Not Life or Death’ and a monologue ‘Handpainted £2.50’.
