“Fiction has always been a way of losing myself in other worlds, a way to learn and experience different perspectives. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved reading and writing stories. 

During a successful career as a police detective and senior investigator, I’ve used both strategic planning and my writing skills to help secure justice for victims of serious crime and survivors of abuse. 

In 2016, I completed a Masters in Creative writing and over the past ten years I’ve met, shared feedback with and collaborated with many amazing authors.

After listening to some of their experiences of struggling to cope with writing, querying and creating a visible presence online, I saw a way I could make a difference again. That is why I set up the Author Bridge.”
