Alan Meredith

Alan Meredith likes to write books where you are never quite sure whether the events of the story are actually happening, or whether they are the main character’s delusion.

Mark Twain did say, “Write what you know.” Shimmer, Midas and his latest book Valhalla, fall into this self-styled genre called ‘Delusional Fantasy’.

Sometimes he slips into his first love, Horror. Lucas, Father’s Day and Self Defence all fall into this well-established genre.

He grew up in the 80s which influences his writing. His love of all things 80s is shared with fellow author and musician Guy Gardner. The love is so strong that Guy and Alan regularly travel back in time to the 80s in Alan’s flux capacitor mod’ed VW Polo to review the latest VHS releases on their Youtube Channel VHS Film Club.
